After Germany again abstained in the vote on the UN resolution „On the effects of armaments and ammunition containing depleted uranium“, Greens MP Agnieszka Brugger submitted a parliamentary question in November 2018, asking why the German government has been abstaining. New civil society statement with focus on environmental security released
For the last few weeks the Conflict and Environment Observatory (CEOBS) have been working with PAX to prepare a statement to mark the United Nations‘ International Day for preventing the Exploitation of the Environment in War and Armed Conflict‘ on November 6th.
